Patient Road Map for Surgery

1. We suggest that you educate yourself about the laser vision correction process by reviewing the information we have here at our website.
    
2. Select specific consent form by clicking the Patient Forms link, upper right corner of any page of our website.
    
3. Contact lenses should be discontinued to achieve a natural corneal shape before surgery. Soft contact lenses should be out 1 to 2 days prior to surgery. Toric soft contacts should be discontinued 1 week before surgery. Patients with rigid or hard contact lenses should discontinue contacts for 3 months or until the best corrected visual acuity is obtained.
    
4. Download and read the Post-Operative instructions.
     
5. Notify our office at 800-644-6393 and tell us where you desire to obtain your pre-operative eye drop prescriptions. Also indicate to our office if you have any allergies to medication or if you are taking any medications.
    
6. Check our Directions page for maps and directions to get to the Shealy Eye Laser Center. There is also information for overnight accommodations.
