Affordable Financing Options
Exploring the possible financial
advantages of laser vision correction is probably one of the most important
factors facing your decision to have the procedure. You may be surprised to
learn that laser vision correction could actually be less expensive than
long term dependence on eyeglasses or contact lenses.
During your initial free, no-obligation consultation, if we
determine that you are a candidate for vision correction surgery, we will explain the details of the surgery that is right for you, as well as the costs and payment options.
The cost of your vision correction procedure is determined by the type
of procedure that is best suited for your eyes depending on the degree of
vision correction that you require.
We offer a broad range of
payment and financing options to help make laser vision correction within
your means.

Credit
Cards
We accept most major credit cards.
Financing with your current credit cards
may be more economical than other forms of financing, depending on your
credit rating. If you are in good standing with your credit card company,
you may be able to negotiate a better annual percentage rate than you are
currently getting. And lowering your credit limit on credit cards that you
don't use or hardly use will increase your revolving credit making it much
easier to get those lower rates, not to mention that it may help your
overall credit score. The better your credit score, the better credit card
rates you will be eligible for.

Know your limit.
Exceeding your limit is usually considered a violation of your
account agreement and may result in additional fees or
penalties, or the freezing or cancellation of your account.
Pay on time.
Whether you choose to make the minimum payment or to pay the
total outstanding balance, your payment must reach the financial
institution or business by the payment due date. Otherwise, you
will incur late fees, and you may damage your credit history.
Stay in good graces.
Most payment cards offer a grace period where you can pay off
the total balance of your account and avoid any finance charges.
In a way, it's like an interest-free loan for up to 30 days,
because purchases paid off during the billing period, during
which they were incurred, do not accrue interest. In fact, many
consumers pay their balance in full during this period.
Get to know your APR.
Because different institutions often use different systems for
computing finance charges, your APR (annual percentage rate) is
a valuable number to know. If you plan to carry a balance on
your account often, it may make sense to shop around for a lower
APR, even if you must pay a higher annual cardholder fee.
Keep in touch.
If you change your name, address, or job, notify your lending
institution immediately. Your payment could turn into a late
payment in the time it takes for a statement to be forwarded to
your new address by the postal service. Also, contact your
lender if you cannot make a payment on your account for any
reason. Special payment options or agreements may be arranged
that will satisfy both you and your lender, while keeping your
good credit history intact. |

Insurance Coverage
Because vision correction surgery is considered elective and
cosmetic, most insurance companies do not cover these procedures. Please

Tax Savings/Flex Plans
Laser Vision Correction Can Be Even More Affordable With
Flexible Spending Accounts
Savings of up to 50% on laser vision correction
procedures
Employees of thousands of companies now have flexible
spending accounts, sometimes referred to as a ‘flex plan’ or ‘cafeteria
plan’. This underutilized benefit can save you hundreds of dollars on
medical bills. And depending on your tax bracket, you could save up to 50
percent when you use your Flexible Spending Account to pay for laser vision
correction.
How a Flexible Spending Account works
Money you and your employer set
aside in a Flexible Spending Account is exempt from federal and state income
tax and from Social Security tax. The maximum amount you can contribute to
an FSA, by law, is $5,000. Many companies set contribution limits to about
$2,000 to $3,000.
Flexible Spending Accounts aren’t just a saving account. By decreasing
the amount of taxes you pay, they save you money. For example, if your
income is $35,000 per year, the rates of 16% Federal Income Tax, 6% State
Tax and 7.65% FICA Tax, your payroll taxes for the year would be about
$10,377. One contribution of $3,000 to your FSA, free from taxes, means you
only pay taxes on $32,000 that year – a net savings of approximately $900.
Those in higher tax brackets save even more.
